श्रीरामचन्द्र कृपालु भजुमन हरण भवभय दारुणं । नव कञ्ज लोचन कञ्ज मुख कर कञ्ज पद कञ्जारुणं ॥१॥
Transliteration: Śrīrāmacandra kṛpālu bhajumana haraṇa bhavabhaya dāruṇam। Nava kanja locana kanja mukha kara kanja pada kanjāruṇam॥1॥
Meaning: O mind, worship the compassionate Lord Ramachandra, who removes the terrible fear of worldly existence. His eyes, face, hands, and feet are like newly blossomed red lotuses.
कन्दर्प अगणित अमित छवि नव नील नीरद सुन्दरं । पटपीत मानहुँ तडित रुचि शुचि नौमि जनक सुतावरं ॥२॥
Transliteration: Kandarpa agaṇita amita chavi nava nīla nīrada sundaram। Paṭapīta mānahuṁ taḍita ruchi śuchi naumi Janaka sutāvaram॥2॥

Transliteration: Bhaju dīna bandhu dineśa dānava daitya vaṁśa nikaṁdanam। Raghunanda ānanda kanda kauśala canda daśaratha nandanam॥3॥
Meaning: I worship Lord Rama, friend of the poor, the sun among kings, destroyer of demon clans, Joy of the Raghu dynasty, source of bliss, moon of Kaushalya, beloved son of Dasharatha.
शिर मुकुट कुण्डल तिलक चारु उदारु अङ्ग विभूषणं। आजानु भुज शर चाप धर संग्राम जित खर-दूषणं॥४॥
Transliteration: Śira mukuṭa kuṇḍala tilaka chāru udāru aṅga vibhūṣaṇam। Ājānu bhuja śara chāpa dhara saṅgrāma jita khara-dūṣaṇam॥4॥
Meaning: He wears a crown, earrings, and a beautiful tilak, his limbs adorned with noble ornaments. With long arms holding bow and arrow, he conquered Khara and Dushan in battle.
इति वदति तुलसीदास शंकर शेष मुनि मन रंजनम्। मम ह्रदय कुंज निवास कुरु कामादि खल दल गंजनम्॥५॥
Transliteration: Iti vadati Tulasīdāsa Śaṅkara Śeṣa muni mana rañjanam। Mama hṛdaya kuñja nivāsa kuru kāmādi khal dala gañjanam॥5॥

मनु जाहिं राचेउ मिलिहि सो बरु सहज सुंदर सांवरो। करुणा निधान सुजान शील स्नेह जानत रावरो॥
